When the spine is damaged, for example by a herniated disc pressing on a nerve in the lower back, or a pinched nerve in the hip, it causes pain, inflammation, and numbness. The sciatic nerve runs down the back of the leg and over the knee, providing sensation all the way down to the sole of the foot. If it becomes compressed, it causes this painful condition. It can also restrict movement in the leg.
Generally, it is a temporary condition, but in severe cases, surgery may be necessary. This Reiki system connects you to the source energy for healing. It helps relieve pain and pressure on the sciatic nerve to support healing and recovery.
The sciatic nerve controls the back of the thigh and the entire lower leg, extending even to the sole of the foot. It is painful and can temporarily cause some movement problems. It can heal by reducing pressure on the nerve, and this often happens on its own. The energies of this Reiki attunement are powerful and help to reduce pressure on the sciatic nerve and alleviate pain. The muscles may be sore due to inflammation, but this too can heal over time.
