This is an Indian mythological phenomenon that has been prevalent since ancient times. The Kalpavriksha is one of the five trees of Indra's paradise, which is known to grant all wishes; it is the wishing tree, the tree that makes abundant wishes come true. Symbolically, the Kalpavriksha represents one's own identity and potential.
The roots represent the deeper spiritual dimensions, and the trunk represents one's constitution. The branches, leaves, and fruits represent our condition, abilities and skills, actions and achievements.
Kalpavriksha is a mythological, wish-fulfilling divine tree that is a common element in Sanskrit literature from the earliest sources, such as the Rig Veda (1.75; 17.26).
Kalpataru is the highest power or eternal power emanating from spiritual waves and vibrations.
Everyone around was fascinated by its divine touch. There is no gap between desire and its fulfillment. There is no gap between a thought and a thing. You think it, and instantly it becomes reality; the thought realizes it automatically. The Kalpatarus trees are nothing other than a symbol for the spirit. The mind is creative, full of ideas. Whatever you think of, sooner or later it will come true. Sometimes the gap is so vast that you have completely forgotten what you initially desired; sometimes it takes years, or sometimes several lifetimes. You cannot influence the source.
But if you look closely, you'll realize that all your thoughts create you and your life. You create your own hell, you create your own heaven. You create the positive. Both are illusory—the pain and the pleasure, the sweet dream and the terrible nightmare, both are merely illusions. Kalpataru is the supreme power or eternal force emanating from spiritual waves, and everyone around him was swept away by his divine touch.
