Essentially, Kundalini means that certain healing channels and chakras have been opened, granting you access to the Earth's energy. The root chakra, the energy center near the tailbone, serves as the entry point for Kundalini energy. Kundalini energy is also referred to as "the Kundalini fire." From there, the energy travels upward through the body, along the "main energy channel," and out through the crown chakra. This energy channel runs from the root chakra to the crown chakra at the top of the head. An open Kundalini means that, over an extended period, a complete cleansing of the chakras, body parts, and energy channels is achieved. A person who has or has had problems with an incorrect awakening of Kundalini or other issues related to Kundalini energy can usually be helped with Kundalini Reiki. DNA is the physical representation of awakened Kundalini energy.

Starting at the root chakra, these two energy pathways spiral around the spine and out of the crown chakra. These two energy channels are often symbolically referred to as "Kundalini serpents." They have nothing to do with snakes, but merely serve as a symbol for DNA.
When the Kundalini is awakened, including the two energy pathways, it activates the DNA, as the awakened Kundalini represents it and is a blueprint of it.
In the new Kundalini Reiki Millennium, two additional energy channels are now activated! Like a tuning fork, the DNA begins to resonate with the awakened Kundalini and is activated. This will help to activate hidden gifts, our true potential and talents from the DNA, forgotten memories, and talents from past lives. The Kundalini Reiki Millennium system is passed on as one attunement. It includes the following three steps:

Step 1: The first step opens the healing channels to allow the channeling of Reiki energy. At the same time, you are prepared for the awakening of Kundalini in Step 2. The crown, heart, and hand chakras are opened/strengthened. Step 1 is the equivalent of the Usui Reiki 1-2-3 attunements.

Step 2: The Reiki channels are strengthened.

The awakening of the Kundalini, where the main energy channel gently and safely opens and ignites the Kundalini "fire", reaches the minimal solar plexus chakra and prepares for the full ascent of the Kundalini in step 3.

Step 3: The previous steps are strengthened, and the throat, solar plexus, hara, and root chakras are opened. The Kundalini energy is intensified and rises upwards from the crown chakra—a complete awakening of the Kundalini takes place. Additional attunements included:
