Tula in central Mexico was the capital of the Toltecs. Quetzalcoatl, the feathered serpent god, was very important in Tula.

This is a very transformative energy.

The wise men and women of ancient Mexico developed the Nahual path as a way of life. A path of personal honesty, on which one learns to be at one with oneself and one's inner and outer universe. Nahual means being with oneself, within oneself, and in one's center—the center that connects with the universe.
From an anthropological perspective, a Nahual is a guardian spirit in the form of an animal or bird that watches over the destiny of every person. People can summon their own Nahual in a dream, or the Nahual might appear spontaneously to help them in certain situations. In reality, however, the term Nahual has no specific meaning; rather, it describes a particular spiritual, physical, and mental state of being, and also a region of the universe. Everything that exists is Nahual, and Nahual is in everything—in the flowers and stars, in the water, in the self.
Nahual also describes a special energetic state of consciousness that contains the deep human will. This energetic state is where what we call personal power resides.
Nahual is an altered state of consciousness. Nahual exists outside of formal logic and human behavioral patterns, is formless and yet can simultaneously assume any form; it is pure essence, it is wisdom, but above all, it is freedom.
