Parasympathetic nervous system - sympathetic nervous system - for the nervous system

The autonomic nervous system (red):
Sympathetic nerves, blue: Parasympathetic nerves
The parasympathetic nervous system is the body's rest and relaxation system. Together with the sympathetic nervous system, it forms the autonomic nervous system.
As part of the autonomic nervous system, the parasympathetic nervous system cannot be consciously controlled. It independently regulates those processes in the body that are related to rest, relaxation, and recovery.
Metabolism and heart rate slow down under the influence of the parasympathetic nervous system. At the same time, activities that the body performs in a state of rest, such as digestion and relaxed observation of the environment, are promoted.
Nerve fibers of the parasympathetic nervous system connect the brainstem and the sacral part of the spinal cord to various internal organs. Communication is bidirectional: information travels from the organs to the brain and spinal cord via nerve fibers, and the brain and spinal cord send information back to the organs. Thus, both internal and external stimuli can activate or deactivate the parasympathetic nervous system.
The parasympathetic nervous system is the counterpart to the sympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for increased activity and performance in the body.
The parasympathetic nervous system brings the body into a state of rest; for example, it lowers heart rate and blood pressure and increases digestive activity. Like the sympathetic nervous system, the parasympathetic nervous system is not located in one specific area of the body, but is distributed throughout the entire body.
The parasympathetic nervous system ensures that the body recovers. This occurs through a series of processes initiated by the parasympathetic nervous system.
The parasympathetic nervous system stimulates the production of secretions and fluids in the tear and salivary glands, as well as in the bronchi and digestive tract.
The body eliminates toxins through tears. The bronchi constrict and mucus production increases as oxygen demand decreases. Increased saliva production prepares the body for food intake.
Further digestion of food is promoted by the parasympathetic nervous system stimulating intestinal activity. Increased bowel movements support digestion, as does increased glandular secretion in the digestive organs.
The parasympathetic nervous system (the "rest and digest" nerve) causes the bladder to empty and promotes defecation. The parasympathetic nervous system thus has a stimulating effect on the large intestine, as well as on the rest of the digestive tract.
The glands are stimulated to secrete, the tone of the smooth muscles is increased, and the sphincter muscles are relaxed.
The heartbeat slows down under the influence of the parasympathetic nervous system. Blood pressure also decreases.
In the genitals, the parasympathetic nervous system causes a dilation of blood vessels, one of the necessary prerequisites for an erection.
The parasympathetic nervous system continues to cause the pupils to constrict. This increases the depth of field. Good all-around vision allows for a precise perception of the environment, enabling the recognition of details.
The following organs are therefore influenced by the parasympathetic nervous system: heart, bronchi, stomach, intestines (except for the lower large intestine), gallbladder, liver, pancreas, genitals and the ureters.
Normally, the body maintains a balance between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. These two states of the autonomic nervous system typically occur sequentially, each inhibiting the other. This means that an active phase (sympathetic nervous system) is followed by a passive, relaxed phase (parasympathetic nervous system).
If this balance is disrupted, it can lead to autonomic dysfunction. Communication between the brain and the autonomic nervous system is impaired, preventing the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems from maintaining a balance between activity and rest in the body.
Since the autonomic nervous system influences all organs of the body, disorders can result that occur in all organs and body regions.
Possible symptoms include:
Headache
dizziness
Diarrhea
constipation
Sleep disorders
cramps
increased sweating
increased or decreased heart rate
slight trembling of the hands
The symptoms are functional in nature and not caused by organic disorders. They are usually triggered by prolonged stress and emotional strain.
With "Parasympathetic-Sympathetic Reiki", a wonderful subtle energy is now available to you, which helps prevent a possible imbalance between the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems and keeps your autonomic nervous system in energetic balance.
Existing disorders can be significantly alleviated by activating the "parasympathetic-sympathetic nervous system Reiki".

For legal reasons, the following addition:
Spiritual healing is permitted in Germany without a naturopathic practitioner's license. On March 2, 2004, the Federal Constitutional Court ruled as follows:
"Anyone who activates the patient's self-healing powers by laying on hands and does not make diagnoses does not need a naturopathic practitioner's license." (AZ 1BVR 784/03)
Reiki treatments and attunements are not therapy and are offered outside the realm of medical practice. I make no promises of healing and do not make diagnoses; therefore, a treatment or attunement cannot replace a doctor, naturopath, or medication.
Since strong energies can flow during all initiations, physical and mental resilience is required. Everyone is responsible for the energies they receive.
